Estonian Drag Racing Association is inviting racers to International drag racing event “AMEERIKA AUTO EDRA Nationals 2024” on June 28th to June 30th 2023 at Haapsalu, Kiltsi Airfield, Estonia. Participating in this event is at the competitors own risk. FIA, Estonian ASN, EMF and the organising club (EDRA) and its officials are not responsible for injuries, accidents or other damage that occurs during the event. By attending the event, the competitors and officials allow their personal information, which is registered in the organisers register, to be used in the interest the race only. No personal information will be given out to third persons who are not involved with the current event.

 RACE DETAILS

This international and national drag race will be run in accordance with the Sporting Code of the FIA, the FIA Regulations for Drag Racing, the national regulations of Estonian Cup and Championship, regulations of Summit EDRS Series, regulation of Baltic Drag Racing series, and any additions, that may be issued.

The event will count for the 2023 Estonian Drag Racing Championship, Estonian Drag Racing Cup series, Baltic Drag Racing Series, and Summit racing EDRS Series.

 

TRACK INFORMATION

The track is an old soviet military airfield. It is covered with concrete plates at the full length of the runway. The total width of the runway is 50 metres, but for racing we use the width of two centre plates, which is 15 metres. Total length from, startline to the end of the runway, is 1.9 km and we are allowed to use every metre of it, if necessary. The surface is prepared from startline to about 200 metres with rubber and trackbite. The track is situated about 100 km. from Tallinn harbour. When using Google maps or any other navigation device, just type in „Kiltsi Sõjaväe Lennu Väli“, or „Kiltsi Airfield“. There is no permanent water or electricity infrastructures on the field, but if you send a special request to the organiser, we can make arrangements to get you both.

Total length 2200m. Width 15m. Concrete track with rubber and trackbite almost first half of the track. Timing system offers .0000 accuracy. Following results will be measured: RT, 60ft, 330ft ET, 660ft ET, 660ft speed, 1320ft ET and 1320ft speed.

Race distance: 1/4 mile (402.33m) except Estonian Junior Bracket, Junior Dragster and Junior Drag bike categories, who will run the 1/8 mile (201,16m).

Estonian Cup cars

–       Junior Dragster: Junior dragsters and funny cars only. Race distance – ⅛ mile. Indexes between 7,900 and 13,600 sec. Summit Racing EDRS Category

–       Junior Bracket: Cars with engines up to 2000cm3. Dragsters and Junior Funny Cars not allowed. Race distance – ⅛ mile. Indexes between 8,900 and 13,600 sec.

–       Pro ET: Bracket racing classes. Indexes between 9.000 sec. to 14.999 sec. for Pro ET. Slower cars than 15,000 sec. run in Sportsman ET category. Summit Racing EDRS Category

–       Street: Heads up category for street cars. Limited modifications allowed. All street tires allowed. Special drag racing and ET Street type tires are not permitted. Class index 13.900 sec.

–       Street A: Heads up category for street cars. Limited modifications allowed. All street tires allowed. Special drag racing and ET Street type tires are not permitted. Class index 12.900 sec.

–       Street B: Heads up category for cars. Limited modifications allowed. All tires allowed (max width 10,5”). Class index 11.900 sec.

–       Outlaw: Heads up category for door cars. Class index 7.500 sec. Engine modifications and all tires allowed.

–     Outlaw Extreme: Heads up category for cars, dragsters, and funny cars. No engine, tire or weight limitation. Class index 6.500 sec.

Estonian Championship and Cup bikes

• Street Bike: Category for street bikes. Limited modifications allowed.
• Pro Bike: Category for modified bikes.
• Bike Bracket: Bracket style class for bikes.
